Alexander Biggs

Biggs weaves soft, nuanced indie folk sounds with lyrics that are both thoughtful and personal.
— Atwood Magazine

Alexander Biggs makes softly devastating music that hooks ears and breaks hearts.

His distinctly gentle vocals, stinging lyricism, melodic ingenuity and evocative acoustic arrangements so effectively encapsulate the ambiguous pain of early adulthood.

Alexander Biggs’ debut album Hit or Miss was released independently on February 3 2021 and features singles ‘Madeleine’, ‘Low’ and ‘Laundromat’.

Self recorded and produced by Alexander Biggs, Hit or Miss was written and recorded in many places — from blanket fort hideaways in a noisy city to a suburban kitchen; the lively lounge room of friends of friends to a makeshift bedroom on the lounge floor of his mother’s house.

The 27-year-old songwriter has supported top tier talent including Julien Baker, Frightened Rabbit & Evan Dando (The Lemonheads), received tastemaker support from folks at triple j, BBC Radio 1, KCRW, Rolling Stone Australia, Consequence of Sound, and Paste Magazine among others, and amassed over 13 million streams on Spotify.

Alexander’s music has resonated with audiences across the world, and seen him perform in the UK, US and South America.
